For the second day, we are continuing to see communications issues with Verizon Wireless. Our central station noticed an issue with failed phone calls to Verizon cellular customers and they were unable to reach us. As we started analyzing the network, the issue continued to grow.
We are continuing to monitor the network and offer a couple of consumer monitoring tools linked below (Downdetector also has a smart phone app).
Guard Tronic suggests to all of our customers to use more than one communication path to reach the central station.  If your alarm system communicates through cellular only, and the cell service goes down, signals may not be able to reach our central station to let us know you need help.  You may read more about our available communication paths here: https://guardtronic.com/blog-communication-methods/
