A robbery and a burglary are two very different events!
A burglary is a covert operation. The burglar doesn’t want to be seen or heard. Burglars sneak around in the bushes, come through unlocked windows, and try to steal your possessions without being detected.
A robbery is an overt operation. The robber puts a gun to your head or knife to your throat.  While they may wear a ski mask so they can’t be identified, they are in your face, threatening your safety to intimidate you into compliance.
