As temperatures finally begin to cool, critters and varmints are looking for places to keep warm….and motion detectors make the perfect condominium.
Please take a few minutes while cleaning your home or business to brush/vacuum over your motion detectors.  If you think there may already be a problem, you can place a mothball on top of all of your motion detectors to keep pests away. No one likes mothballs!
Spiders, ants, and other small animals can create false dispatches when crawling across of the face of a motion detector or photoelectric beam. Periodic cleaning will help reduce false dispatches and extend the life of these components.
