For the first time in 20+ years, our UL Listed / FM Approved central station isn’t powered by inverter power, a system we installed when we moved into the Guard Tronic Executive Building in Fort Smith in 1998.

Our old system relied on 12 different 4 volt, 1,220Ah batteries run into a 10KW inverter.  This configuration provided 24+ hours of battery power.

We are so proud of our new UPS systems that runs on 12 volt, 8 Ah batteries (a LOT of them).  We have two 10KW units, so that if one goes into trouble, we can quickly switch to the backup unit.  This will all be powered by a 55KW generator.  The UPS systems are continuously monitored by software to check for voltage, amperage, battery life, and several other factors.  Reports are generated automatically to track performance.
