In its second story in two days, ABC News details another hacking incident with Ring security systems.
A woman in Georgia says she was getting ready for bed when a stranger's voice came over her Ring security camera. https://t.co/1unjB4mH87

The first story is from Georgia and details a couple that installed the system to watch their new puppy, but instead heard a man’s voice that began speaking to the woman at the residence.
ABC News’ second story states that a hacker began using racial slurs at the family that had installed a Ring camera system.
These are not the only two reports of Ring camera systems being accessed by unauthorized users, including Ring’s own employees. A simple Google search will reveal that several instances have been reported that children have been threatened or communicated to over the camera system.
Unfortunately, it isn’t only Ring cameras that are susceptible to unauthorized access. Reolink published a list of camera systems that have huge holes in their security protocols that allow easier access to the feed. Many of these camera systems are vulnerable because of outdated firmware or default access credentials.
