The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) defines a trouble condition as “an abnormal condition in a system due to a fault.”

Fire alarm systems should not be allowed to remain in a trouble condition.  The building owner is putting the lives of everyone in their home or business at risk when their fire alarm systems is not operating properly.  Even if everyone makes it out of a fire alive, an insurance company may not pay out on the loss if the fire alarm system was in a trouble condition when the fire was ignited.

Trouble conditions can be as simple as a low battery trouble or as complex as a ground fault on a wire.

Guard Tronic has been a member of NFPA for decades and has NICET certified staff ready to help fix the trouble conditions on your fire alarm system.  If your fire alarm system is a proprietary system, we can find solutions to replace the system with a state-of-the-art fire detection system that we will be able to service for years into the future.
