What kind of expert do you want working on your security system?
The person that barely passed the minimal requirements to be licensed or the person teaching the licensing courses?
Several Guard Tronic employees donate their time to educating others entering the electronic security industry in Arkansas and Oklahoma. To meet the requirements to teach these licensing courses they must score a higher grade than just passing the exam. They also must prove their ability to teach the codes and standards by being judged by other instructors and each student.
Guard Tronic employees have been involved in association training since it was started in 1985.
Some of these same employees have been recognized as subject matter experts (SME) by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). They help maintain the exams for NICET, by keeping them up to date with modern codes and standards and keeping the exam questions current.
Do you want a licensed technician or do you want an expert?
