Guard Tronic was honored to host Nick Mirus, UL auditor, in our Fort Smith Central Station yesterday, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
UL Listing is a voluntary certification to ensure we meet the most stringent requirements with regard to:
the security of our facility and equipment,
the infrastructure of our communication channels,
the redundancy of our equipment,
the processing of signals,
and training of our operators.
We also performed some UL681 Mercantile inspections. Compliance with UL681 ensures that high security establishments like banks, jewelry stores, and customers who have suffered a significant loss in the past receive the deepest discounts in their insurance premiums.
Guard Tronic Central Station complies with Standard 827 and our installation and service departments comply with Standard 681 and has for over 45 years. We believe that no alarm system should be monitored in a facility that refuses to submit to third party verification.
