Using a broken system to get a fire alarm installed in a new building usually leads to a broken fire alarm system.
New fire alarm systems are typically installed by a fire alarm contractor, doing work for an electrical contractor, doing work for a general contractor, doing work for the customer / building owner.  Since the building owner isn’t the customer of the fire alarm contractor, a proprietary system gets installed poorly with no hope for long-term maintenance.
Since the fire alarm system requires monitoring and inspection, testing, and maintenance, this will often lead to a customer being stuck with a fire alarm contractor that has done everything they can to get the system installed quickly, and for the lowest cost possible.
Several months later (sometimes only weeks), the customer begins looking for more reputable companies to help correct the failures of the system only to learn the system is proprietary and can only be serviced by the company the customer is trying to get away from.
Guard Tronic has been in business for 64 years. While we may not be able to service the system you have, we can replace it with a system that we can service for decades in the future.
