Guard Tronic hosted our first ever virtual audit to UL Standard 681.
A UL auditor has visited Guard Tronic every year for the last 40+ years. We typically spend several hours in the office auditing paperwork, including: maps from our facility to our customers, work order history, signal history, and our inspection reports. The auditor then accompanies our personnel to audit several of the businesses that meet this standard.  We typically spend an entire day looking at burglary and robbery systems. Because of COVID-19, there was no way to safely perform this audit.
Using Microsoft Teams, Guard Tronic and UL held a virtual audit of records to ensure compliance to the 681 Standard. This standard applies to high security customers, like banks and jewelry stores.
