UL inspector Jeff Stone (below) inspects one of our high security clients to verify compliance with UL 681, a voluntary standard for mercantile accounts.

Guard Tronic has been a UL Listed company longer than Jeff has been alive. We are proud to be able to provide security to many of the most secure banks, jewelry stores, schools, and other security sensitive facilities.

Underwriters Laboratories completed their annual audit of Guard Tronic’s Central Station today. Nick Mirus and Jeff Stone spent several hours inspecting our equipment, operators, and service to ensure compliance with the new UL 827 standard.

UL 827 is a voluntary standard that the best monitoring stations in the world meet to ensure the best security for our clients. Guard Tronic has been UL Listed in the mid-1970s.

Tomorrow will be spent doing “field work.” UL will go visit our certificated clients and ensure that not only our Central Station exceeds national standards, but our systems do as well.
