control is simply allowing users into an area based on possession of an
item, code or physical characteristic, while denying others. Many
times it is a lock and key. However a lock and key provides no
reporting of who gained access and when. It is also be very
expensive to change locks every time an employee looses a key.
Guard Tronic offers access control systems that give you control of who is allowed into what areas at any given time. You can allow or restrict employees by door or schedule. For example, the cleaning crew's card/code can only be used to enter the building Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. You may then run reports by card/code, door, or date and time. In the above example, you could then see when the cleaning crew arrived, track the through the building, and see what time they left. |
