Jordon Brown, Regional Manager for Guard Tronic’s Fort Smith office, was named to the Board of Directors of the False Alarm Reduction Association (FARA). He will serve as the Associate Director for Electronic Security beginning in January 2018.
“It is such an honor to serve such a prestigious organization, along side such dedicated individuals for such a noble cause. I’ve attended the FARA Symposiums since 2010 and have been impressed with FARA’s efforts in reducing our false alarm problem. I have learned so much from the FARA Membership and believe that the electronic security industry can work with law enforcement to reduce false alarms.” Jordon said.
The Director for Electronic Security represents the electronic burglary and robbery system companies on the FARA Board.
Jordon Brown was the 2014 recipient of the W. Rex Bell Associate Member of the Year award.  FARA presents this award to the security industry individual for outstanding contributions to furthering the goals and objectives of the False Alarm Reduction Association.
